Members

We currently have 80 Trustees. The following are the category of members we have:

Donor Members

If a person intend to donate Tk. 2,00,000/- (Taka Two Lac) 0r $3000 or £2000 will be taken as donor member, They can participate in AGM and contribute in the policy matter. They will have voting right.

Life Member

Life Member will pay minimum  Tk. 25,000/- at a time and don’t have to pay monthly subscription. They can take part in the AGM and contribute in the policy matter.

Members

The general member will pay at a time Tk. 5,000/- or $60/-  or £50 at a time and also pay yearly Tk. 4,000/- or $50 or £40/-. If they are not in a position to pay yearly fees for subsequent 2 years, their membership will be non functional. A general member will have voting right at AGM, contribute in policy matter and can get chance to be a member of executive committee if nominated and elected.

Facilities given to poor patient can be contributed by sponsor for the disadvantage people

a. Sponsoring one patient:   For his/her dialysis every month Tk. 20,000/- (Taka Twenty thousand) only required for twice in a week. Total min 8 time dialysis under supervision of a doctor and proper medical care at a dialysis center.

b. Sponsor for subsidizing rate for dialysis patient: Every month min 8 times dialysis needed for each patient. KFS need Tk. 1,650/- for each dialysis. So, if Tk. 650/- can be arrange from a sponsor, we can provide dialysis by Tk. 1,000/- for each time.

c. Zakat Fund:   Zakat is admissible for contributing in dialysis where a family become totally in distress condition financially for such treatment. Anybody can provide Zakat or Sadka to a special fund under this programme.

d. Contribution in Over Head Expenses:   If anyone want to contribute in the over head expenses like utility, rent, staff salary etc. the cost of dialysis will reduce. The trustees will provide free treatment and also dialysis to the people those who deserve it.

e. Providing necessary equipment’s cost or bed. A substantial amount of contribution will be acknowledged by trustees in a fitting manner.

We can create following organization in different countries. 1st phase we can create 3x Sister concern for collecting donation in following countries:

  1. USA – Friends of Kidney Foundation Sylhet.
  2. UK – Friends of Kidney Foundation Sylhet.
  3. Canada – Friends of Kidney Foundation Sylhet.
  4. Honest and reputed people will be encourage to form a committee for this purposes.
